Lisa Barber, hotel chambermaid, was the winner of an MTV competition in which the 10,000 caller to a special hotline had the Under The Cherry Moon premiere staged in their hometown. Dolled up by a stylist (& new outfit) sent by Prince, the man himself picked her up at her front door, kissed her hand & escorted her to the event in his limousine where she sat next to him for the duration of the movie with his arm said to be comfortably around her shoulders. After the film, Prince & The Revolution performed at the local Holiday Inn. Naturally, Prince made sure Lisa was safe after & had a way home in his limousine.
